King David had quite the life. It wasn’t as noble and honorable as some storytellers would like us to believe. But David himself knew how to weave words together. Often, they were about his violent collision with the grace of God.

Quote we've been pondering: Russell Brand wrote a response to the Manchester bombings which included this line:
“I am baffled by the scope of our human capacity to feel or not feel. To love or not love. To kill.” – Russell Brand
We posted the whole quote (which is much longer than this section) here on our Instagram. Personally, our hearts are grieved and saddened by this unnecessary tragedy. Us Humans have such a way to go… but we have hope.
Loved this video: A friend of mine sent me this lecture by Jordan Peterson (associate Professor of Psychology at Harvard and currently full Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto) called “Maps of Meaning: From Genesis to Buddha” and it had me riveted. Professor Peterson talks about the importance that the Genesis story has in depicting human psychology. Very enlightening. Very challenging. I love this stuff, I hope you like it too!
Book I'm currently reading: I'm reading (listening to) “Eat That Frog“, a classic by Brian Tracy on effectively managing yourself and your time. (I need it!)
