We went to the zoo recently and saw all these famous and mighty beasts. What we didn't see was they're true power…because they were contained! Hundreds of people milled around pointing, marvelling, and making noise right in front of these powerful animals and there was nothing they could do, except sit behind the cage. Now if they were free it would be a different story. As onlookers we'd move around cautiously, trying not to draw attention to ourselves by making noise and respecting their authority and power. Shame, like guilt and fear, are the enemy's primary weapon for disarming the overcoming power of Christ in you. They're like a cage to contain the glory of God that is at your disposal! But when you realise the truth it sets you free. It unleashes the true power and authority the Christ has bestowed on us. Rom 1:16 says “I am not ashamed of the gospel…which has the power to save everyone who believes”. Don't allow the enemy to cage you with shame, guilt or fear today but live powerfully free in His saving power! We love you and believe your best days are ahead! Fight the ‘good fight' today.
