“When you speak healing words, you offer others fruit from the tree of life.”
“Words create worlds” (A.J. Heschel) so say what you need to say. Let’s reclaim some words we’ve forgotten how to use; that are getting dusty on the vocabulary shelf:

Words like:

Thank you
Help me
I don’t know
I’m Sorry
*Silence*

Sometimes words get in the way, so let’s make friends with silence, too.

“Words can do a heck of a lot of damage. But they have dual power: they can also heal. Let the healing begin.

Powerful, two minute reads that have helped change the script in thousands of people's lives.

CHALLENGE:

Think of some words and phrases that you need to reclaim. Perhaps you need to begin with how you speak to yourself.
Write them down. Say them out loud, swirl the letters around your tongue and set them free.
Pick up the phone, drive over to your friend's house, share those words with someone.

Words can do a heck of a lot of damage. But they have dual power: they can also heal. Let the healing begin.

When you speak healing words, you offer others fruit from the tree of life. But unhealthy, negative words do nothing but crush their hopes.” Proverbs 15:4 (TPT).

And get in touch! Let us know some words and phrases that you think could change things. If you give them a go, let us know what happened.

Much love,

Lizzy (and Jesse)
