Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: (Psalms 103:2 NKJV)

The last few days we've talked about thankfulness and the benefits of an attitude of gratitude. It sharpens of focus and awareness of God. Ps 22 indicates that He inhabits our praises. Ps 100 says we enter His presence with thanksgiving and praise. It is the key to increasing your sensitivity to God and in the end determines your level of joy in this life. We all know people who “have a lot” and still have a a spirit of “entitlement” – an attitude that they are owed more. They are ungrateful for what they have (which is more than most) and completely unhappy in it. WHAT A WASTE! The truth is you don't have to have a lot to find real and lasting joy. You just need a small amount of discipline in the area of your attitude – ensuring it's always directed toward thankfulness. Paul says in Philippians 4 “…I've learned the secret to life! It's to be content (thankful) in all things. I've learned to abase (have little) and abound (have a lot).” Obviously that's paraphrased, but it gives you context. If you can learn thankfulness in every season and situation of life, you will truly find joy and truly lived blessed. Bless The Lord and forget not ALL His benefits! It'll change your day, if you start today and change your life, if you don't stop. Love you guys…have a brilliant day ?????
