Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this? (Esther 4:14 NLT)

It may seem that Esther was in the right place, at the right time. Some might say a cosmic coincidence where the stars aligned and she was able to be the hero that saved the day. But the text recounts Mordecai as saying “perhaps you were made queen for such a time as this…” – He understood that it was no accident she was in prime position. It's easy for us to see, in retrospect, that Esther was divinely placed in that situation to preserve the Jews, but do you think she suffered from doubts and fears? Like each of us, we are positioned in our relevant circumstances “for such a time as this” but often we don't look at it with that mindset and so miss the ‘divine opportunity' presented right before us. And like Esher there is a mandate on our lives to preserve the lineage of Abraham, which in plain terms, means to bring the good news of Jesus to people….the people that you have access to…that God has divinely placed in your sphere of influence. Don't doubt, when you look around, that you can make a difference and that you are here for a reason…for such time as this. Maybe it's your brother or a friend. Perhaps a it's a work colleague or the parent of a child that plays sports with yours. You are in that person's world by divine appointment and you have dozens of opportunities, every day to bring light and love into this world…in your world! When doubt and fear enter your mind retaliate by encouraging yourself that you are “here for such a time as this”…because you are! God bless…make this day an awesome one!
