Bless us and all people with the hope of new beginnings. John Philip Newell
We’re here. The start of 2018.
We hope and pray that you’ve had a meaningful Christmas and New Year season. If it was filled with joy, we celebrate with you. If it was difficult and heartbreaking, we hold the space with you.
2017 sure had its twists and turns, am I right?! Ha! For us, it was heartache and joy and work and rest… ‘all the things' rolled into one year. And although I know 2018 won’t be too different in the twists and turns department (that's the nature of life, right?), I sense grace and excitement for the coming year.
There’s lots of work to be done, lot’s of healing to move through, lots of dignity and health to reclaim, much joy to revel in, and much fear to breathe through. It’s all on its way, as it always is. Maybe the difference for you this year is that you’ll face it all with eyes wide open.
PRAYER OF HOPE
by John Philip Newell.
“O God of life,
who chooses creation over chaos
and new beginnings over emptiness,
we bring to you the disorder of our nations and world
and the emptiness of our lives and relationships.
Bless us and the nations with the grace of creativity.
Bless us and all people with the hope of new beginnings.“
NOW GO!
Put your phone away! Enjoy your family and friends! Sleep in. Have a coffee and a long lazy breakfast. Play with your kids. Go for a walk with your love. Make some beautiful memories.
Do you have any “New Year” rituals? We'd love to hear them. Email us at hello@pktfuel.com
Much love,
Liz (and Jesse).
