This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. Heb 6:19 (NLT)
“Be” Series – Part 8 – Be Hopeful
The Amplified version of this passage says “…the hope… that reaches farther and enters into…” There is but one way to enter into God and that is by Jesus. He is the “hope” we have and the hope we hang onto. Hope in Jesus will drive you farther than any other motivation and any other force. It compels us to love deeper, be patient longer and to live with expectancy. Hope oils the dry joints and fuels the empty tanks. It puts wind in the sails and determination in the voyage. Fear and hurt do the opposite work of hope. They dry us out and zap us of our destiny-propelling motivation. That’s why Jesus says He comes to make “all things new”. Old, worn-out, broken down and given-up on things. But He doesn’t give up. His truth always shines and lights the way. When you get hope you have new life coursing through your veins. Often we try to function off old hope… but He makes all things new. If you're feeling dry and energy-less turn your eyes upon Jesus; the hope that reaches further and enters in! BE HOPEFUL. Refuse to live without it and propelled by it! Have a hope-filled day. Much love.
