“The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you…” (Deuteronomy 33:27 NLT)

First up please take some time to pray for the victims and families affected by the tragic tornado in Oklahoma. Our hearts, prayers and thoughts are with you all. It's times like these that our faith, our connectedness, has to shine. Empathy and compassion for our brothers and sisters must engage and become action to do our part to pull them from the wreckage of this situation. In every way possible do what you can, raise funds, raise awareness, reach out…think about how you'd feel if you were on the other end of this tragedy. Think about what would help you if you were. Now do that to the best of your ability! “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’ (Matt 25:40) Finally don't look to your circumstance as your source of joy, comfort and security. If you're circumstances are threatened, even to the point of tragedy, they have the power to destory you! God has promised us that we can run to Him for refuge and that His everlasting arms will carry us through any circumstance – we need not be destroyed. Two things: 1. We must turn to Him for refuge in these times 2. We must lead others by showing them the way, to the refuge He provides. Your bunker will have twice the value when you bring someone else into it, during a storm. This verse is dedicated to Oklahoma, it's people, it's spirit. We love you and are praying for you.
