Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10 NKJV)

The Lord's Prayer is amazing passage of scripture found in Matthew 6. Jesus isn't just going through the motions of how to pray, as in teaching us what to say word for word etc… He is teaching us how powerful it is in our lives. This particular verse is full of expectation. When we pray, we can do so with great expectation of what and how The Lord will answer. We don't pray to a dead, unhearing, motionless being. We pray and petition almighty God, seated on the throne, maker of heaven and earth, author of our faith, creator of our Hearts, saviour and friend, lover of our soul. So when we pray, don't speak like you're talking to yourself… God hears your every word. ‘Your Kingdom come' – pray the Kingdom into your world every day, invite Him and his majesty and glory in. ‘Your will be done' – make a declaration that you will fight for the will of God to be outworked in your life over and above the temptations and distraction of this world and its desires. ‘On earth as it is in heaven' – expect The Lord of all, Jesus Christ, to do and be mighty on your behalf. Heaven invading earth, a grand collision, a divine touch, an electric and spiritually charged embrace of wonder and power of heaven to a broken and desperate world. When the vulnerability of man is empowered by the grace and strength of Christ, it is a force so beautiful and irresistible, your world cannot help but be changed by it. Love you guys… great days xo
