Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Colossians 3:23 (NLT)

I remember being at a staff retreat for a Church I was working at, and being given the exercise of reading Colossians and bringing back my revelation from it.
When we all came back together and it got to my turn to share my revelation, I embarrassingly had none. I struggled and muttered and mumbled out a pretty lame answer. I thought it was over for me. How could I be called to ministry and not even get revelation from a WHOLE BOOK in the Bible.
Guess what? God still loves me and He still used me.

After a whole bunch of years I can see that one little blip on the radar (I’ve actually had several blips!) didn’t affect His thoughts toward me or my opportunity to be useful to His kingdom.

Even if it was a big blip, it still wouldn’t have affected Him.

Sin and failure has been dealt with at the cross. The key was that I didn’t give up. I kept on keeping on, acting as if my failure didn’t affect my future (although every part of me thought it did!) and it’s the same for you.

When you work as if for people, you are subject to their judgement when you fail BUT when you work as if for God a mistake doesn’t change the ball game.
Get up, dust yourself off and keep on moving forward.

After all isn’t that what God would want you to do? We love you guys, don’t get caught up in your failures today but do get caught up in the one who saves you from them!

Have a brilliant day.
