Wondrous

Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law. (Psalms 119:18 NKJV)

God is a wonder… in many ways. Sometimes in moments of worship and reflection I'm in awe and wonder of Him and His greatness. At other times I sit and wonder what on earth He is or isn't doing. haha! In his word are hidden treasures. Priceless gems we would only find if we searched for and pursued them. In all our wondering of God, its his word active in our hearts that reveals Him and his true nature to us most. However the more I delve into who He is, the more wondrous he becomes. The more His grace and love astound me… and the more aware I am of His forgiveness and adoptive heart. Here's the thing… Its in HIS WORD. In the bible. Don't live your christianity on second hand accounts and stories of who he is. Find out for yourself. Pull your bible out, pay it attention, ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to who He really is while you pour your heart and soul over the timeless and powerful words written and kept sacred for generations. So go for it… switch off the TV, look away from your phones and social media… give some time, even just some moments, to His word and see and experience His wonder. Bless you guys.
