He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. (Job 9:10 NIV)
This was written by Job, a man who lost everything. His house, his lands, his health, his wife, his children – all gone with but a moments notice. The one thing he held onto, the one thing he did not loose, was his faith in God. His friends would often gather around him begging him to admit that God was not real, was not there for him, and even hated him. If you read the book of Job you'll see that through every circumstance and state, Jobs trust and faith in the Lord stayed steadfast. This makes the statement he makes in Job 9:10 all the more powerful. Before he received his miracle and deliverance, Job was declaring the power of Almighty God. He knew the depth and height of God was beyond anything he could comprehend or imagine. What do you believe about God? Its so easy to let our current situation define God in our lives… and we do that so often without even thinking. But lately I've been stirred to believe again in the wonders and miracles He is able to perform on our behalf. Through any circumstance hold onto your faith. Hold onto your trust in God. Don't let your situation define you, but rather allow the unfathomable, miraculous, wondrous God define how you hold your head and heart through every season. And start to believe again in the miracles and wonders He is bursting to send forth from his heart. Think of Job who lost everything, but god restored to him 10 fold what he had lost. He is able and He is willing. Have faith and trust in Him. Love you guys.
