Isaiah 40:31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.They will soar high on wings like eagles.They will run and not grow weary.They will walk and not faint.
One of my favourite preachers, @ed_young , has this saying: “trust is a must”. I love it and find myself saying it over and over again in my head. It's true though….trust is the key to powerful living. This world conditions the trust out of us. Insurances and public liability etc all cause us to bunker down and sure up our bets…protect what's ours and ensure our future in our own strength! Now I'm not saying insurances are all bad but I am saying that our future is not in a policy…it's in a Person…Jesus! Everything was created by Him and what is in our possession was provided by Him. When you start to look at life through this lens you realise that working hard to set up and protect your own future sucks the life out of you. It means you constantly have to work to make sure that every little variable remains in its right place. Your whole life gets consumed by providing for yourself. But those who “trust in The Lord…shall find new strength…they will run and not grow weary”. Today our challenge is to stop trying to make it happen in your own strength and start trusting El Shaddai (meaning “the Lord provides”) to do what He promises. You'll walk and live in such great peace and be far more effective in what He has purposed you for! Be blessed…we know you're destined for great things this day. Much love ?
