“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me…” (John 15:1-4 NKJV)
I don't know if you've ever seen a real grapevine up close, but they actually grow quite long. The very ends, particularly where the bunches of grapes grow, can seem along way from the main trunk and the root system. The same, can easily happen with us. We can feel distant from God even to the point where we no longer ‘feel' connected to Him. It may even get to a place where it feels like we're doing this on our own and we can grow without God's help. But believe me, you are and need to be connected! And you need His help! Disconnect a branch from the vine and it quickly goes brown and lifeless and it's impossible for it to ever bear fruit. His kindness, love and mercy are like the branches that reach out to you. They feed and nourish you daily. They give you life. John 15 says “I am the true vine…abide in me…” Recognise that your source is God and be sure that you abide in His infinite love and grace today…you will get nourished and grow healthy! Be blessed…

I love these devotions.
Your dissertations of the scriptures are easy to understand. I love how you bring typography/art into the verses for the beautiful emphasis on the words, too!
Keep it up!
