I was only pondering recently how my faith can directly be attributed to those Christians who went before me. Those who were committed to sharing their stories and glorifying God so that the next generation could hear of His good works. Those who were committed to generosity, sacrifice and building a legacy. It struck me that we have to be just as committed to sharing with the next generation all the stories, all the strategies, all the wisdom, all the revelation that God has given us. Ps 145 says “Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power”. It is this way that His church gains momentum and He continues to get glory. Our challenge to you today (and everyday really!) is to commit to championing the next generation! Share the story of the God-miracles you've seen and experienced. Serve in your local church and be generous with your time, money and encouragement! When the next generation hears about Jesus that's when we ultimately give Him the glory.
