Most Popular PktFuel.com post: Weakness and Suffering » (from the Weaker/Stronger Series)
Something happens when you come face to face with your weaknesses. With your sins.
It’s a sobering reckoning.
It’s a redemptive freedom.
No more images to uphold and maintain. No more lies, no more pretending, and hiding.

On the DVO App: The newest series staring next week is called “Surrender”. It discusses the idea of how surrender is not laying down and dying but actually letting go of a dualistic mindset. Download it here for iOS and here for Android.
Video I loved: Last week I mentioned the new doco Before The Flood produced by National Geographic and hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio – I've really spent the last week digging in to Climate Change (and it's validity) and it led me to stumble across a Katharine Hayhoe and this video.
Quote we've been pondering:
Our new mate, Jarrod McKenna, posted a portion of this quote during the week and it's been rolling around in my head. Especially the last line about “ultimate consumerism”.
“The deathliness among is not the death of a long life well lived but the death introduced m that royal garden of Genesis 2-3, which is surely a Solomonic story about wanting all knowledge and life delivered to our royal management. That death is manifested in alienation, loss of patrimony, and questing for new satiations, that can never satisfy and we are driven to the ultimate consumerism of consuming each other.”
– Walter Brueggemann (from The Prophetic Imagination)
Podcast I loved: Because I've been researching climate change this week, and Katharine Hayhoe has come up so much for me, it's interesting that I somehow missed her episode on one of my fave podcasts, The Deconstructionists.
