Hey friends… Been thinking on this lately… It can be so easy in life to get into the habit of focusing on what divides us from one another – highlighting differences and becoming more separate… These differences can be anything from style and looks to heart issues like beliefs, sexuality, politics and more. The thing is, there is so much more that unites us then divides – we ALL have struggle, we ALL want wins, we ALL know pain, and we ALL want love… When we look and choose to see through Christ's eyes, the eyes of Grace, it detects and senses beauty – Christ's love for us is so powerful, it can see beauty even in the darkest of circumstances. Togetherness and community is at the heart of the matter, not separation and division. When you look, really look, into the heart of your neighbor, through the power of the cross, you will find beauty – peaceful living will follow when we unite, not divide. Love you guys much.
