Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. (Philippians 1:3 NLT)

WOW… Think about it… I'm sure there are people you and I think of, and when we do, thankfulness is not our default attitude towards them. But imagine if it was. What would happen to our heart and the way we see and receive people if we were thankful for them. Thankfulness is a powerful way to live and it cleanses, purifies, defogs and widens your vision and perspective. I'm sure the Philippian church had issues and that there were members of that church that probably got on Pauls nerves… But he determined that thankfulness was his heart towards them. When we're thankful for the people around us, it helps us see them the way God sees them and for who they really are. Even those who are horrible to us… When we can find something – even a small thing – to be thankful for in that situation with that person, it helps you see that the reason for their mis-treatment of you has way more to do with the condition of their heart, than the person you are. We have so many things to be thankful for. I encourage to be thankful for the people around you today… It will bring clarity to your vision and peace to your heart. Love and thanks xo
