Thankful

Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will]. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 AMP)

When we talk ‘destiny', we often relate it to things, activities, jobs etc that we will do. Rarely do we talk of our destiny in terms of WHO we will become – our character. To have an attitude, even a disposition, to Thankfulness is Gods will for you. Thankfulness is such a key character in life. It grounds you in reality, it widens your perspective, it keeps your heart from greed and corruption, it helps you see others in a positive light, it opens up joy in your life and so much more. When thinking of your destiny, think first of WHO you want to be and become rather than WHAT you want to DO. What we do comes out of who we are… We place so much emphasis on the ‘doing' part of our destiny, and not our character when it should be a marriage of both. Thankfulness is your destiny.
