John 16:33 “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
Simple thought today… Take heart! When trouble comes, take heart. When disappointment looms, take heart. When a massive bill arrives that you can't pay, take heart. When the doctor gives you bad news, take heart. When school is overwhelming, take heart. When your kids are all consuming, take heart. When relationships colapse, take heart. When you are super busy with work and deadlines, take heart. Steal yourself, stop for a moment, breathe. The God we serve and believe in, Jesus Christ who was sacrificed and rose again, winning us the eternal victory to save our souls from hell and our lives from condemnation, dwells within us. And he has already overcome all sorrow, pain, heartache and trouble. This scripture says that in life we will face many things, but our peace is to be found not in the ease of trouble, but in the triumph of Christ. Even right now, just take a moment to reset your heart and mind to peace in Jesus – he has overcome. Love you guys.
