Truth; It's a powerful cleaning agent. It cleanses and makes people free. It's pretty obvious that lies and un-truths are like a web that tangle us and keep us from living uncluttered and settled. So truth is the antidote. Yet it's really hard to “out” something that brings us shame. That, right there, is a ploy of the enemy to keep you all wrapped up. To hold you back from the destiny God intended for you. This section in Ephesians 4 says that as we ‘speak the truth' we grow ‘more like Christ'. Jesus always dealt in truth…especially truth added with love. Some people use the truth to cut others down but that was never Jesus' motivation. Truth in love will always lift people up; reveal and release potential; set people onto their God-ordained course. Next time you face someone with the truth ensure that your motivation is love…that's how we want to be treated when faced with some hard truth's about ourselves. It's when we do this that we become free of sin…and more like Christ. Today, if you're living cluttered and weighed down by un-truths and deception, make sure you find someone with maturity, wisdom and grace to share with and help release you from snare of lies. After all the truth will make you free. Make today count…we love you!
