“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…” Prov 23:7 (NKJV)

There was an experiment done in the USA where a group of people practiced shooting hoops, another group thought about shooting hoops, and 20 people did absolutely nothing. They all came together to shoot hoops to see which group improved this action most. They found that the people who practiced improved by 24%, the people who visualized improved by 23%, and the people who did nothing hardly improved at all… They determined that visualizing, seeing yourself doing something in your mind and heart, was actually very effective and powerful when it came to the physical out working of that action. Prov 23:7 says “For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” What you think and believe about yourself has great power in your life and plays a massive part in what you achieve and where your life goes. If you keep telling yourself that you're a failure, chances are, your confidence will deteriorate and you may start to experience that… If you keep thinking that you can do it, then chances are your confidence will build and you will see that thing through. It sounds easy enough, but so many of us fail to connect our thought life and what we believe, to the results and events in our lives – especially when previous negative experiences support negative thought. You can turn it around! Your thoughts have the power to change your life, they drive what you do and the actions you take. Today, make that connection between your thoughts about yourself and what you actually achieve. Empower your dreams with affirmative thinking. Love you guys, think big! xo
