Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. (Proverbs 2:4 NLT)

When you read from the beginning of Proverbs 2, you see that this verse is talking about wisdom, understanding and insight. These things are so important and life changing that we should seek them like hidden treasure… Wisdom is not an easy thing to come by. You usually gain wisdom through trying circumstances – situations that cost you. There is something about hardship that makes it a fantastic teacher – if we let it. Anything truly valuable is harder to find. And sometimes we need to make a determined decision to seek the treasure out. My friends and I always talk of hardship being a great way to dig deep in our lives and find the gold buried within. Wisdom, understanding and insight are priceless… When you face rough times, do all you can to seek out the wisdom, the lesson, the gold in that circumstance. Let it grow you not throw you. Wisdom may sometimes be buried, but it is there to find. Don't coast through life without digging deep and seeking it out. They are tre asures worth more than money can buy. Bless ya!
