What an incredible promise! Life is full of highs and lows – good and evil – joys and tragedy… but amongst it all, in any circumstance, no matter what, those who trust in and believe in Jesus will not be destroyed, overcome, conquered or ruined. This is true AND true freedom. The promise isn't that calamity will not come our way… it doesn't mean that we will live and pain and tragedy free life. BUT rather that when those things happen – which we all face different situations and circumstances at various times in our lives – we will not be conquered. No army can destroy our spirit, our faith in Jesus. No disease, mental, emotional or physical, can eat away at the love of our God in our hearts, and no matter where we walk, His angels guard our hearts and minds. True freedom isn't living in a bubble where nothing bad happens to you… its knowing that through ANYTHING “God works all things together for good for those that love Him”. Whatever you are facing today, speak this Psalm over it… with Jesus there is no disease, circumstance or heartache to great to conquer or ruin you.
