“You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” – Isaiah 26:3
Well today's PF is our last in the series on “thought life”…we hope you've enjoyed it! ‘Peace' is the one quality that a believer should have above those who don't! It should be the separating hallmark. However many Christians don't know how to access it, but this verse in Isaiah is a key and if you read it backwards you'll find the answer! When your THOUGHTS are fixed on Jesus, you can't help for your TRUST to end up there. In-turn, your trust in Him will keep you in PERFECT PEACE. When you trust God completely then there's no need to stress, worry or fret. You know that He has everything under control. But most of us get stuck at the first step: our THOUGHTS! When our thoughts go undisciplined, unchecked & unguarded we allow them to go anywhere and the enemy takes advantage of this. Imagine if a VIP or famous person was admitted to hospital but no one was posted guard at their door. Anyone could come or go while they were unconscious…they become vulnerable! You are a VIP in God's eyes and you need to keep a guard on your thoughts. Today, make sure they stay fixed on God and the promises of His word. Then you'll find you can trust Him and that's where you'll experience His perfect peace. It all starts with the thoughts. Have a brilliant day as you do this. We love you.
