You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! (Isa 26:3)

When God gives you a peace about something it usually means there is chaos, disorder or potential anxiety surrounding the situation you're in. In order for there to be peace there must be the opposite of it in existence.

In order for us to understand and comprehend light, there must be the absence of light.

To perceive warmth, we need lack of warmth. So in order for you to get a greater revelation of the peace that the Bible talks so much about, you have to accept the fact that there are going to be seasons and situations where there seems to be none!

Many of you will have heard of Bethany Hamilton. At age 13 she lost her arm in a shark attack while she was surfing. What I love about her is that what most people would have considered a limit in their life, she turned into an amplification of her calling in God. Now she travels the globe sharing her experience and giving God the glory.

You can imagine the trauma and chaos that would have plagued her in the ensuing months after the attack. Instead of succumbing to it's power, I believe she sought out the peace of God (the peace that “surpasses all understanding” that Philippians 4 talks about) for the true and real destiny that God had for her life.

When you seek God like this, in these chaotic situations, immediately He reassures you of the future and hope He has for your life. He'll give you a vision of where He's leading you and how nothing, not even the current chaos you're experiencing can stop it.

A peace you can't explain given the circumstances, but a peace that you can't deny. It's knowing no matter how squashed you get, the destiny God has for you is still going to flow out of you. It can't and won't be stopped.

This is why the Bible calls Jesus “The Prince of Peace”. Seek Him out today to experience it. Much love friends…
