Here's another Christmas one for you… Peace on Earth… A phrase we throw around a lot this time of year – But peace is actually an all year round, every day, moment by moment thing. Firstly, Jesus wants to bring peace into your heart. Phil 4 says that “peace that surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and mind”. Instead of fear, worry, and distasteful things filling your heart, Jesus wants to fill it with peace… A peace that doesn't depend on your circumstance, but is purely derived from the love and heart of God where nothing can tarnish it or take it away. Then he wants that peace to spill out of our Hearts and into our relationships. That doen't mean being a walk over – or letting people take advantage of you – it's actually about your attitude towards these circumstances. Not letting hatred or fear be the gate keeper of your heart… but rather peace ruling your responses and your intake of that situation. If peace stood guard – directed the traffic – of our hearts and minds… Then I truly believe the earth would be flooded with a joyful peace. Love ya's – peace to you and yours today. xo
