What powerful words. I love the picture this verse paints of God – All powerful, large, great & supreme, all encompassing & huge… Its hard to explain it really… but in all of his greatness, majesty and glory, he totally exists for you and I. “In his largeness, nothing gets lost”. It reminds me of the parable of the lost sheep found in Luke 15 where the shepherd left the 99 and went in search of the one sheep that wandered off. I am a bit of an introvert… I love crowds cos I can easily slink away in them, Shuffle to the back, be unseen… lost in the crowd so to speak. But even in the expanse and largeness of the world and all its people, past, present and future… there is no hiding from God, not even in the crowd of the human race and all its complexities… God sees you, He hears, He knows you… His greatness actually provides the capacity he needs to be personal and intimate with every human being on the planet. The thing about that is, although it is my nature to want to hide, I know when I am ‘found' by God, it is not for shame sake, but for relationship, grace, truth and freedom. “Not a man, not a mouse slips through the cracks” of His heart, His purpose, His plan… He's an all-powerful God, and an all inclusive God. We just need to respond to his pursuit of our hearts. Have the best day friends…
