Most of us are aware of and enjoy love…it's wired into our DNA! However none of us really experience ‘perfect love', humanly speaking, because none of us are perfect!
This creates a crack for the enemy to fill us with fear. Fear about stepping out, being out of control and trusting God. Fear then separates us from God's perfect love. We doubt His intentions and then take back the control for ourselves. Our imperfect, sin-affected, broken selves. And the outcome? Imperfect and broken lives that don't satisfy us but leave us feeling empty despite ‘taking charge' of our own future, which the voices and currents of secular society tell us will bring us fulfilment.
Fear drives our economy and our selfishness. Fear separates friend from friend, brother from sister, mother from child and husband from wife. Fear of not having enough. Fear of missing out.
Beware of social media creating this fear in you. The temptation that other's are having the time of their life while you're stuck in a reality that sucks. The truth is emotional and mental needs of a human drive them to present the best side of themselves (and maybe not completely true) when they can get away with it…and social media is the perfect platform for this.

All that is to say, don't let fear motivate or direct you but allow your identity to be so steeped in the perfect love God has for you, that it doesn't matter what voices or visions of fear are presented, you know that God has you and will lead you into a future that is good. It all comes from knowing His perfect love! We love you!
