PART 2 – Mighty God. Don't turn off your “expectation-er” for God to do amazing and mighty things in your life! Often the enemy gets us living complacent and switched off to the strength and might of who God is. Instead of believing that He is “Mighty” we secretly find ourselves asking “might He?”. “Will God REALLY come through on that healing I'm believing for?”. “Can He REALLY show up and help turn my marriage around?”. Don’t ask WHETHER HE CAN…expect that HE WILL! Jesus is not like Santa though. It's not like asking for whatever you want and getting it, if you've been a good boy or girl. God doesn't always give us what we want BUT He always gives us what He promises! I love how the NLT puts 2 Cor 1:20 “For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for His glory.” He is a God who comes through on His promises…which is unlike the way we're used to being treated by the rest of humanity. Ps 71:1 says “I run for dear life to God, I’ll never live to regret it.” If you want a life of ‘no-regrets' then the secret is entrusting the “dear” parts of your life to God…to the promises of El-Shaddai (which means “God Almighty”). Zeph 3:17 says “For the Lord your God…is mighty to save” Do you claim He is “Mighty” or do you ask “Might He?”. Today, expect God to do mighty things in your situations and circumstances…He can be trusted! We're believing you'll have an awesome day friends…
