Much like our homes when a visitor arrives, when we think about Jesus in our heart, there’s a temptation to have it in “perfect order” before He comes in. We’re socially conditioned to make sure the appearance of our lives always looks good over actually being real with where we’re at! But God is the Creator of everything. He knows the beginning from end and of course He knows what He’s in for when coming into our lives…and the amazing part is…He’s not scared of what He’ll find! Jesus is the ultimate “home-maker.” No mess is too big, no life too far gone for His love and “home-making” capabilities! However, He gives us the choice as to whether to let him have access to our hearts, even if He’s never been in before or has come over everyday for the last 50 years. Today, and everyday, let Christ into your heart to “make home”…in time it will become a home full of beauty and life that will be irresistible to your friends & family and a testimony to God’s power at work in you.
