G'day all! (yep…we're Aussies!) When Jesus is laying out the most important commandments, He narrows it down to two. Love God and love people. When thinking about this revelation, I wanted to say so much but only felt to say a little. You see I believe that intrinsically, we all know this truth…it's wired into us. We just need constant reminders in a world that sets us up to compete with each other. In the traffic, in the classroom, in the workplace, in our sporting clubs…it even happens in our own families! Matt 22:39 says “Love your neighbour as yourself”. THAT.MEANS.EVERY.PERSON! Even the ones that aren't so ‘loveable'. It may not be easy, but it is achievable through Christ. The truth is, it actually benefits you just as much as your neighbour! Go into your day looking for the opportunity to love your neighbour and watch what it brings back to you. It may be as simple as paying for the coffee of the person, in the line behind you or maybe befriending someone everyone else rejects. Try and see what happens…and let us know!
