Today I though it'd be prudent to start from the start given that we've entered a new year. Much like the image, today my challenge is simple: make a commitment to read the Word daily! And I'm not just talking about our Instagram feed…although we love you reading that too. Jesus says ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ There is life-giving power in God's Word that will transform your life but you'll never fully engage it if you don't commit to making it part of your everyday. You don't have to read slabs. Just a chapter or even just a verse a day. Let God speak to you, right where you're at, from what you read. Ask Him to reveal His truth to you in a personal way. And don't get discouraged if you miss a day, just get back on the horse. It's better to have missed a few days throughout the year than to NOT read it at all! But I know, from my own experience, that the enemy will bring condemnation if you don't read for a few days. Be wise to his tactics. Discouragement is one of his ploys to separate you from the goodness God has for you. This year engage the Bible in a fresh and personal way so that not only will you be transformed, but the lives of those around you too. Have an awesome day friends!
