Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” – Hebrews 13:5 (NLT)

The two greatest identity and emotional needs of a human are significance and acceptance. ‘Significance' meaning that we have esteem among our peers and friends and ‘acceptance' meaning people actually like being around us. Ever been in a social situation where you're in a group conversation and for one reason or another the group peel away and join other conversations and groups? It may not've been intentional but you definitely have to wrestle with the feeling of rejection and lack of acceptance. Thoughts like “Don't people enjoy being around me?” and “I'm not good enough to hang out with!” trickle (or flood) into your thinking. No matter how you're treated by man, the Almighty Creator loves you and is with you always. Ephesians 4 says that He's “in all things and through all things” so He's always connected to us, no matter what valley we're in. And unlike human-nature, the good news is that He'll never leave. He'll never quit on you. No matter how dark it gets or how bad you may think you are, He is there! When you start to realise this your acceptance comes from a source that never runs dry, never gives up, and always is there. His love and ways are perfect and His esteem in you isn't built off what other people think. It's the quintessential, unconditional love. And it's all yours if you accept it. Choose to accept it today and re-route your source of acceptance from one that never runs out! God bless you guys! We are so grateful for you all..
