I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread. (Psalms 37:25 NKJV)

For most, trusting God means trusting Him for provision for their next meal, or a place to sleep. I heard an African band called “The Sowers” one time and the lead singer talked about how growing up, their whole family would pray every morning that God would provide all their meals for that day…because they couldn't! He said this was common to most families he knew…but he also said that God provided every meal though they never knew where the next one was coming from. Close to 50 percent of this world live in this kind of poverty, yet you and I don't have to pray for the next meal to supernaturally appear, we just go to the fridge, or the supermarket, or the local fast food store. We are rich and we live rich but it's our perspective that tells us otherwise and this is what the enemy wants you to do…feel poor and “not blessed”. When you live like this then you take, what you have, for granted, just like Adam and Eve in the Garden. They had a whole garden to eat from but were un-satisfied and wanted more than what God provided for them. I honestly think that most of the 1st world nations stand on the blessings of their forefathers, who founded the countries on Biblical principals. In order to see the blessing continue for the generations to come, we must hold onto those Godly principals. If they break down, from a Governmental level, the responsibility still falls on us to hold fast to them in our families and communities. God promises that the righteous “won't be forsaken nor their descendants begging for bread” – today count your blessings and stay true to His word! It'll change you and the generations to come. Love you guys and praying today is powerful for you… #righteous #forsaken #blessed #providence #blessing #biblical #godly
