We're living in a world that is moving fast. Sociologists, psychologists, and a scientist all agree that life in the western world is picking up pace. In the speed, many things are changing. Technology jumps in leaps and bounds. Society and family life have taken on a new normal. The economy is becoming less predictable. Even the way we do Church is rapidly changing. You know where I'm going with this, but it's a good reminder cos with all the speed and change we forget quickly. Change creates uncertainty in the human mind. When circumstances and situations shift, it unsettles and unnerves us. Well, only if we put our trust and faith in those circumstances. But circumstances are not our saviour. The economy is not our saviour…and dare I say it…our families are not the saviour! Our Lord (and Saviour) does not change. His mercies endure forever. His love remains constant despite our challenges and trials. His pursuit of you will always be at level 11 our of 10. It doesn't matter what has changed in your life, He remains the same. Your circumstances may look shakey today but there is a firm foundation, a Solid Rock, on which to plant your feet and steady your stance. Live powerfully in this truth today!
