Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:5 NKJV)

We often say that hope is a powerful motivator. It can fuel up and refresh the driest situation. Fear works exactly the opposite and can have such a stronghold over our thinking, feelings and actions. It actually drains and depletes life, leaving us feeling empty. Fear is something that we have to discipline ourselves to eradicate from our lives. Hope, on the other hand, is the supernatural ingredient that inspires us to go above and beyond our normal capacity. It sees in faith what the natural eye can't. It calls out potential and acts as if what wasn't, actually is. In our Church we have an acronym for hope: Helping Other People Everywhere. That's what hope does, it sees a need and works to fill the gap. Hope anchors the soul, it fills with joy and peace and knows there's a future. Hope continually brings praise, develops patience, and does not disappoint. Actually hope is a person and His name is Jesus. Don't ever ever ever give up on hope. Let it anchor you and fuel you this day. Be blessed…
