It's unfathomable to imagine a love that is unfailing since most of our experience, day-to-day, is dealing with love that fails and is not perfect. After all we are all human and imperfect and incapable of giving a love that fails not. Don't discount the imperfect love people give you. It comes from the purest place they can muster it from. It's like expecting a broken mirror to a reflect a perfectly undamaged image. In fact when someone gives you an imperfect love let it reflect your frailties and remind you that you too, are not perfect in your humanness. Sometimes we expect perfect love because we think we give it. My Pastor often says “we all judge others off their worst day and ourselves off our best”. Humility recognises (but doesn't live in) our own flaws. It recognises the need for a perfect love from above to continually fill us! Fortunately God's unfailing love is greater than the heavens! It's quality and quantity go beyond a measure we could ever comprehend and is available 24/7. Next time a love fails you (family, friends, loved ones) deal in grace by reflecting on your own brokenness and draw from the source of unfailing love, Jesus, to offer it back. What you'll find is a sense of peace beyond understanding in your own life and that others will want what you have! We LOVE LOVE LOVE you all…hope this day is filled with light and love!
