“And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.” Eze 36:26 (NLT)

One of the greatest transformations we can make in this life is allowing God, through Jesus, to enter and make over our hearts. It's never just a superficial dusting of God-goodness but a complete change-out, from a hard and cold heart, to one what has genuine compassion and tenderness. When this happens, it literally changes the spirit of who we are. I've mentioned the “Heart Math Institute” previously and another brilliant discovery they've made is that the heart emanates waves of energy that can be received by other hearts. Ever walked into a room and felt the ‘spirit' or ‘vibe'? This is your heart picking up the waves from other hearts. Without verbally communicating, you're able to discern tension going on in that room that you've had nothing to do with. When Jesus transforms our hearts there's often a discernible change in spirit around our lives. As Pastors, we've seen people saved one week and the next week their face looks completely different… all because of a change in their heart and spiritual condition. You can understand how profoundly our spiritual situation has impact on our physical bodies. The key reason we need a soft heart is to stay pliable to His leading. Someone who is hard and unmovable will only ever do things their own way. If a human only lives off their own decisions and choice-making, they'll only get natural results. But if we live vulnerable to the leading of the Spirit, we'll end up with super-natural results. Allow God to soften your heart… it'll take you places you've never dreamed about! God bless…
