This verse is awesome. It’s not a pretty verse, a fluffy verse or even a comforting verse. It’s almost like a wake-up call. I think sometimes in the comfort we experience in the western world, we take for granted the MIGHT of God and the power and purpose of His presence in our lives. We are so self sufficient and self reliant that we skip over these verses too lightly. GOD IS WITH YOU… Whoever and wherever you are – Jesus Christ Son of God, Saviour of the world, Creator of the universe and cosmos – is with you… He is with you.. and He is soooo mighty, strong, fierce, awesome, powerful – there are, in fact, not enough words to describe the height and depth of who HE is… But He is with you… AND HE is mighty to save… Let it be a powerful and beautiful wake-up call for you today.
