Psalm 121:3-4 says ‘He won’t let you stumble, your Guardian God won’t fall asleep. Not on your life! Israel’s Guardian will never doze”. Have you ever fallen asleep through something important? I have slept through cooking timers, the end of a great movie, the start of work… I've even fallen asleep at work. We get tired from living, working, being and we need sleep. We need to reenergise simply because we expend energy. God has endless energy. It's impossible for Him to run out – He is the source of life and energy for every living and created thing. He never slumbers, He never rests, He never sleeps though important things – He won't fall asleep ‘on the job'. He won't fall asleep as He watches over your life. He is ever present, ever awake and ever alert and aware to you and your situation. Be encouraged today that Gods got your back. He's not tired of you, He is fully awake, keen and alert to everything in your life. Whatever it is that you need today, that you are praying and believing God for, He has not forgotten about it, He doesn't need to ‘sleep on it'… Trust Him, and He will lead you down the path of your prayers answer.
