If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. (Daniel 3:17 NLT)
Two things from this account in Daniel. 1) The 3 young Jews were told to bow down to a golden image or suffer at the hands of a fiery furnace. There are many golden images that seek your worship above His. They look right but put pressure on you to do it their way. It may be a relationship or family members who want you to settle for less than what God has for you. Honour those people but politely stick to your convictions that God is number 1 in your life. 2) God is able. No matter what circumstance you face, He is able to intercede, overcome and do greater than you could imagine. There maybe flames flicking in your face, taunting you that you'll be consumed. They'll try and tempt you to lower your expectations of God and His saving ability. The heat will want to cause you to shrink back and bow down to the pressure of settling. Don't do it. Our God works all things for good for those that love Him…so love Him, trust Him and allow Him to come to your rescue! Hold tight and hang in there…like CS Lewis says “There are far far better things ahead than any we leave behind…” Have the best day…keep looking ahead! Love…

Wow! This verse seriously speak to me today! As I was reading this verse, the song, “God is Able” by Hillsong just played. Then, as I kept on reading, I was surprised at the meaning of verse! I just moved in with two of my friends who have broken homes but were still faithful on the Lord! And it just spoke to what we went through, family telling us we won’t make it, but we told them our God is greater than our circumstances (Exact from this verse!) Then lastly, when I read the CS Lewis quote, I became more excited! This quote is my wallpaper since last month! God is really speaking through this, and He just confirmed that He is still with us! Thank you for posting this! “God’s Love is truly able and amazing!”
