Devotion> One of our greatest challenges as “followers” of Jesus is to do just that….follow! A big chunk of the drive behind following is trust. Have you ever had to follow someone to a destination, in a car. If you don't know where you're going, your only option is to trust the lead car, the person who knows where to go! God is just that to us. He's the more than just the lead car as He knows where we NEED to go. When a relationship doesn't work out, or you get passed up for that new job, or the door closes on a deal you had your heart set on, don't let worry set in or get stressed out…you're not supposed to to this life in your own strength. Simply TRUST. Trust that God is leading you onto the right path. You're one step closer to that God-ordained relationship, job or deal. Besides, living in God's will is so much more easy. See if you build your own empire and future then you have to maintain it! But if you trust and follow God into His plan for your life, you'll enter a peace that He has everything under control. Today start letting go of control. hand your desires over to Him and allow Him to lead you. That's what He does best. It won't be easy to start with but it will bless you in the long run.
