Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. Isaiah 60:1 (NKJV)
In the Amplified, Isaiah 60 reads: “ARISE from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you – rise to a new life! Shine – be radiant with the glory of the Lord, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!”
ARISE… Your circumstances can be really distracting from the truth – maybe you've been rejected, maybe you've failed, maybe you're being challenged beyond belief and these experiences have made you feel depressed and depleted – maybe they've floored you… But today, lift your eyes… arise in your spirit… rise to the new life, the new hope, joy and strength found in Christ alone.
The truth is that you are accepted by the Father, you are forgiven, you are empowered by grace, you are more than a conqueror! It's time to stop letting your circumstances dictate your worth. Jesus has set your value, and He gave His life for you – you are priceless.
SHINE… You have ‘shine' within you! You have spark, you have something special… You're not dull, you're not lifeless or boring, you have serious SHINE empowered and sustained by Jesus. His glory has risen on you, your light HAS COME. It's here in Jesus Christ. Let His love and purpose radiate through you today. Bless you guys…
