One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts. (Psalms 145:4 NKJV)

Don't let the stories of God's faithfulness die with you. Make sure you share and relive all the good things He's done in your life with those around you. This serves two purposes: 1) When you relive and retell the story of God's goodness it helps you. It helps you be thankful. Ps 103:2 teaches us to “bless The Lord” and “forget not all His benefits”. An attitude of gratitude will always inspire joy. It's hard to worry or be upset when you count a 100 things that you're thankful for. 2) It sustains the legacy of God's goodness, inspiring the next generation to live for God and encouraging them that they can trust Him.
Prov 13:22 says “a good person leaves an inheritance for his children's children…” What better legacy to pass down to your grandchildren than one of a strong faith. A large bank account can change in a moment but a firm faith in God will get them through any season of life. I'm not saying leaving a large bank account is bad, but just don't think that that's the only form of inheritance to leave behind. What is your testimony? What are the amazing stories you can tell your children. Share them today…it'll bless you and those generations to come!
