A guy I know often says “if you make a tree into a table, you can't make it back into a tree” – so too, if God makes your free, through Jesus, you can't be made un-free. The enemy will try every trick in his book to make you think otherwise. A person led to believe they aren't free, will not act as if they are! They'll live caged despite the door being wide open. There's a YouTube clip called “Invisible Rope” and in it, two young guys stand on either side of a road and as cars approach, they act as if they are pulling a rope up in front of the car. Most drivers are so convinced that they bring their car to a halt to avoid a rope that isn't there. So it is with the devil. He wants you to stop for an invisible rope. He wants you to stay caged by invisible bars. Using fear mixed with lies, he makes people believe there is no future for them, despite God promising us there is. He'll make you withhold when God says “it's more blessed to give than receive…” 1 Peter 5:8 says “he prowls around…like a lion…” Note the word ‘like'. It's an intimidation thing. He parades himself as a ferocious lion when, in fact he's as harmless as a new born kitty. You are free so live in the fullness of it today! God bless…
