What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Rom 8:31 (NIV)

Store this verse in your memory banks! Write it down, repeat it over and over, stick it up on the wall somewhere… just do what it takes! In the moments, days and weeks after your reading of it, you are going to need it, like a sword to protect you! The enemy will do everything he can to convince you this is a lie. Let this verse be the Word that you pray over your own life constantly and consistently. A reminder of His promise when it seems to have disappeared.

A worthy response.

The Bible says His ‘word never returns to Him void' (Isa 55:11) and that He ‘watches over it to perform it' (Jer 1:12) and so God promises that His promises are true… and He promises they will come to pass in your life.

The truth is, He's conquered every other authority in this world, for all ages, and so when you're on His side, you've already won! Get a hold of the truth that with Jesus, you're a winner and no ‘losing feeling' is accurate or correct about who you are and the purpose God has for you.

Romans 8:1 says, “There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus” which means any voice of condemnation comes from Satan. That's why he's called the accuser. Note that an accusation instantly instills you with fear…but God hasn't given you a spirit of fear. What He has given you is His power – it’s the power that overcame the grave and brought Jesus back to life. It lives in you so call on it, draw from it and depend on it. No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every word of judgement that rises up against you shall condemn (Isa 54:17) in Jesus Name.
