Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 Pet 5:7 (NLT)
One of our greatest challenges as ‘followers' of Jesus is to do just that… follow!
A big chunk of the drive behind ‘following’ is trust.
Have you ever had to follow someone to a destination in a car? If you don't know where you're going, then your only option is to trust the lead car, the person who knows where to go!
God is that to us. But He's more than just the lead car – He knows where we NEED to go, not just where we want to end up.
When a relationship doesn't work out, or you get passed up for that new job, or the door closes on a deal you had your heart set on, don't let worry set in or get stressed out… you're not supposed to do this life in your own strength. Simply TRUST. Trust that God is leading you onto the right path. You're one step closer to that God-ordained relationship, job or deal.
Besides, living in God's will is so much more easy. If you build your own empire and future then you have to maintain it! But if you trust and follow God into His plan for your life, you'll enter a peace that He has everything under control.
Today start letting go of control. Hand your desires over to Him and allow Him to lead you. That's what He does best. It may not be easy to start with but it will bless you in the long run.
You guys are amazing! Thanks for all your kind and encouraging words daily… it means a lot to us! Blessings…

Your posts inspire me daily. (It’s crazy!) It goes straight through my soul. As a fresh-out-of-college girl, moving and starting out in a whole new country, I can say that reality might be getting the best of me. (And I hope not.) There are points when I doubt myself and even question Him “Lord, is this really it? Is this what You want for me?” And it gets frustrating. I try to hold on to the Bible daily and you, You give me that instant shot in the head and reminder that God is with us no matter what.
Just discovered your comment Alison! Thank you for the encouragement and God bless! Keep pressing and in and holding onto faith…
Much love…
