Not only that, but all the broken and dislocated pieces of the universe—people and things, animals and atoms—get properly fixed and fit together in vibrant harmonies, all because of his death, his blood that poured down from the cross. (Colossians 1:20 MSG)
Everything we look at, no matter how brilliant, has been impacted by the fall of man…tainted by sin-nature. What we see is not in the full glory God intended it to be in. There's only one way things can be restored to their God-intended completeness and that's through Jesus. Next time you find yourself on the raw end of someone's bad attitude, remember that person is not a perfect picture of God's glory…yet! Discipline yourself not to get mad or take it personally, instead pray for them and envisage them living fully in the glory God intended. Though you might receive the broken picture from them, give them your best. If and when you fail and let others down, don't beat yourself up. Get back up and try again. Apologise and take responsibility for your part, this is the best way to keep moving forward. Paul says in Philippians 3 “…forgetting the past and pressing onto what lies ahead…” – what lies ahead is a future perfected by Christ, where every broken and dislocated piece gets properly fixed! The enemy would have you stuck in the past, dwelling on your past mistakes and past hurts but God want you looking forward, pressing on! The best, in Him, lies ahead! Live powerfully today seeing in yourself and others, the Christ-restored potential…God bless…thanks for being awesome!
