…Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News. – Phil 1:27 (NLT)
Welcome to Day 4 of our collab with Andrea Howey week. Follow her and give her plenty of encouragement! She has an awesome gift!
None of us are immune to ‘fighting' and I'm sure none of us enjoy fighting amongst ourselves, be it our spouse, friends, family or Christian brothers. We, PktFuel.com are actually a husband and wife team and to be perfectly transparent, we fight all the time! We're both passionate people with strong ideas and many differences. It's the symphony of those differences that makes our union truly beautiful and unique…which is the way God intended it. Fighting for and expressing ideas is the natural push and pull of life…don't ever look at it as bad. What's destructive is when fighting becomes personal and attacking. When it becomes divisive. In our marriage, I (Jesse) am the structured, logical one. This can be infuriating for a creative like my wife (Lizzy) where structure stifles the creativity out of her personality. In the same way, I find the mess and disorder of creativity very limiting! Neither is bad, they are just different and as Ephesians says “each part fits together to make the whole body work”. In all our relationships, each of us brings to the table differences for common good. It's when we see these differences as wrong that we create division and destruction. It's like the eye saying to the arm “you're useless…you can't even see”. We're designed to work together and although we may be different, our battle is the fight of faith, together! Today, allow for other people's differences – it creates unity and God always blesses unity! Have the best day…we love you all!

Thank you for the words of encouragement! And most of all for sharing God’s truth! It is an inspiration to me and I look forward to it daily! God bless!
